Description

The Dragino S31B-LX is a LoRaWAN Temperature and Humidity Sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It is used to measure the environmental temperature and relative air humidity precisely, and then upload this data to an IoT server via the LoRaWAN wireless protocol.

The temperature & humidity sensor used in the S31B-LX is the SHT31, which is a fully calibrated, linearized, and temperature compensated digital output from Sensirion. It provides strong reliability and long-term stability. The SHT31 is fixed in a waterproof anti-condensation casing for long term use.

The LoRa wireless technology used in the S31B-LX allows the device to send data over extremely long ranges at low data-rates. It provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimizing current consumption.

The S31B-LX supports the Temperature & Humidity alarm feature, users can set temperature alarms for instant notification. The S31B-LX also supports the data-log feature. It can log the data when there is no LoRaWAN network connection and uplink the stored data when the network recovers.

The S31B-LX supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA updates which make the device easy to use.

The S31B-LX is powered by 8500mAh or 190000mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar powered with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery designed for long term use.
