Description

The Dragino MR-XX-LX is a LoRaWAN Microwave Radar distance sensor. It uses use 80GHz Microwave Radar to detect the distance between the sensor and different objects. This is different from ultrasonic or Lidar measurement. Microwave Radar is more reliable for damp/dusty environments. It can sense the correct distance even if there is water or dust on the sensor.

The MR-XX-LX can be applied to scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, liquid level measurement, parking management systems, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent trash can management systems, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewage systems, bottom water level monitoring, etc…

The LoRa wireless technology used in the MR-XX-LX allows the device to send data over extremely long ranges at low data-rates. It provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimizing current consumption.

The MR-XX-LX supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA updates which makes the device easy to use.

The MR-XX-LX is powered by 8500mAh or 190000mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar powered with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery designed for long term use.

Each MR-XX-LX is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration. Users can register these keys to their local LoRaWAN server and it will auto connect after being powered on.
