DS03A-NX: NB-IoT Open/Close Door Sensor

The Dragino DS03A-NX is an NB-IoT Door Sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It detects door open/close status and uplinks to an IoT server via the NB-IoT network. Users can see the door status, open duration & open counts in the IoT Server.

The DS03A-NX will send data every 2 hours as well as for each door open/close action. It also counts the door open times and calculates the last door open duration. Users can also disable the uplink for each open/close event, instead, the DS03A-NX can count each open event and uplink this data periodically.

The DS03A-NX supports the datalog Feature, it can log the data when there is no NB-IoT network connection and uplink when network recovers.

The DS03A-NX also supports the Open Alarm Feature. Users can set this feature so the device will send an alarm if the door has been open for a certain amount of time.

The DS03A-NX is designed for outdoor use. It has a weatherproof enclosure and industrial level battery to work in a range of temperatures

The DS03A-NX supports different uplink methods including MQTT, MQTTs, UDP & TCP for different application requirements, and supports uplinks to various IoT Servers.

The DS03A-NX supports BLE configuration and OTA updates which makes the device easy to use.

The DS03A-NX is powered by 8500mAh or 190000mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar powered with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery designed for long term use.
