Description

The Dragino DDS75-LX is a LoRaWAN Distance Detection Sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It is used to measure the distance between the sensor and a flat object. The distance detection sensor is a module that uses ultrasonic sensing technology for distance measurement, and temperature compensation is performed internally to improve the reliability of the data.

The DDS75-LX can be applied to scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, liquid level measurement, parking management systems, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent trash can management systems, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewage systems, bottom water level monitoring, etc…

It detects the distance between the measured object and the sensor, and uploads the value via wireless to a LoRaWAN IoT Server.

The LoRa wireless technology used in the DDS75-LX allows the device to send data over extremely long ranges at low data-rates. It provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimizing current consumption.

The DDS75-LX supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA updates which makes the device easy to use.

The DDS75-LX is powered by 8500mAh or 190000mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar powered with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery designed for long term use.

Each DDS75-LX is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration. Users can register these keys to their local LoRaWAN server and it will auto connect after being powered on.
