Description
The Dragino DDS20-LX is a LoRaWAN Ultrasonic liquid level sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It uses a non-contact method to measure the height of liquid in a container without opening the container, and sends the value via the LoRaWAN network to an IoT Server.
The DDS20-LX sensor is installed directly below the container to detect the height of the liquid level. Users don’t need to open the container for the level to be measured. The non-contact measurement makes the measurement process safer, easier and possible for some stricter situations.
The DDS20-LX uses ultrasonic sensing technology for distance measurement. The DDS20-LX is of high accuracy to measure various liquids such as: toxic substances, strong acids, strong alkalis and various pure liquids in high-temperature and high-pressure airtight containers.
The LoRa wireless technology used in the DDS20-LX allows the device to send data over extremely long ranges at low data-rates. It provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimizing current consumption.
The DDS20-LX supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA updates which makes the device easy to use.
The DDS20-LX is powered by 8500mAh or 190000mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar powered with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery designed for long term use.
Each DDS20-LX is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration. Users can register these keys to their local LoRaWAN server and it will auto connect after being powered on.
