Description

The BCN02 is a Bluetooth BLE iBeacon designed for indoor positioning solutions. The BCN02 is based on the Diglog IC and supports the Bluetooth 5.1 protocol. The BCN02 is low power consumption with a 1200mAh battery. With a 500ms broadcast interval, the BCN02 can work continually for 4~5 years.

The BCN02 is designed for use with the Dragino TrackerD to provide LoRaWAN Indoor Position Solutions. Users can place many BCN02’s in different locations and the devices will keep broadcasting their UUID via Bluetooth. When users bring a TrackerD LoRaWAN BLE tracker into the area with the BCN02’s, the TrackerD keeps scanning for UUID’s and chooses the highest signal UUID to uplink via LoRaWAN. So the IoT server will know where the TrackerD is.

The BCN02 is powered off when shipping via airline. Users will need to rotate the top of the device to open it and plug in the power connector to power it on.
