Description

The Dragino RS485-CX is a RS485 / UART to CAT-M1/LTE-M Converter for Internet of Things solutions. Users can connect RS485 or UART sensors to the RS485-CX converter, and configure the RS485-CX to periodically read sensor data and upload via CAT-M1/LTE-M network to an IoT server.

The RS485-CX can interface to RS485 sensors, 3.3v/5v UART sensors or interrupt sensors. The RS485-CX provides a 3.3v output and a 5v output to power external sensors. Both output voltages are controllable to minimize the total system power consumption.

The RS485-CX supports different uplink methods including MQTT, MQTTs, UDP & TCP for different application requirements, and supports uplinks to various IoT Servers.

The RS485-CX supports BLE configuration and OTA updates which makes the device easy to use.

The RS485-CX is powered by 8500mAh or 190000mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar powered with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery designed for long term use.
