Description
The Dragino LDS40-LX is a LoRaWAN LiDAR ToF (Time of Flight) Distance Sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It is capable of measuring the distance to objects as close as 0m to 40m. The LiDAR probe uses laser induction technology for distance measurement.
The LDS40-LX can be applied to scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, liquid level measurement, parking management systems, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent trash can management systems, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewage systems, bottom water level monitoring, etc…
It detects the distance between the measured object and the sensor, and uploads the value via wireless to a LoRaWAN IoT Server.
The LoRa wireless technology used in the LDS40-LX allows the device to send data over extremely long ranges at low data-rates. It provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimizing current consumption.
The LDS40-LX supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA updates which makes the device easy to use.
The LDS40-LX is powered by 8500mAh or 190000mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar powered with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery designed for long term use.
Each LDS40-LX is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration. Users can register these keys to their local LoRaWAN server and it will auto connect after being powered on.
