Description

The Dragino LDS12-CX is an CAT-M1/LTE-M LiDAR ToF (Time of Flight) Distance Sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It is capable of measuring the distance to an object as close as 10 centimeters (+/- 5cm up to 6m) and as far as 12 meters (+/-1% starting at 6m)! The LiDAR probe uses laser induction technology for distance measurement.

The LDS12-CX can be applied to scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, liquid level measurement, parking management systems, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent trash can management systems, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewage systems, bottom water level monitoring, etc…

It detects the distance between the measured object and the sensor, and uploads the value via wireless to an IoT Server.

The LDS12-CX supports different uplink methods including MQTT, MQTTs, UDP & TCP for different application requirements, and supports uplinks to various IoT Servers.

The LDS12-CX supports BLE configuration and OTA updates which makes the device easy to use.

The LDS12-CX is powered by 8500mAh or 190000mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar powered with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery designed for long term use.
