Description

The Dragino DDS45-CX is a CAT-M1/LTE-M Distance Detection Sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It is used to measure the distance between the sensor and a flat object. The distance detection sensor is a module that uses ultrasonic sensing technology for distance measurement, and temperature compensation is performed internally to improve the reliability of the data.

The DDS45-CX can be applied to scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, liquid level measurement, parking management systems, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent trash can management systems, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, sewage systems, bottom water level monitoring, etc…

It detects the distance between the measured object and the sensor, and uploads the value via wireless to an IoT Server.

The DDS45-CX supports different uplink methods including MQTT, MQTTs, UDP & TCP for different application requirements, and supports uplinks to various IoT Servers.

The DDS45-CX supports BLE configuration and OTA updates which makes the device easy to use.

The DDS45-CX is powered by 8500mAh or 190000mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar powered with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery designed for long term use.
